DIWS Institute is dedicated to gathering community and building unity by improving outcomes for all members of the community through strengthening education and providing programs that create the outcomes for families that help build up our communities during unusual circumstances and through all of life’s challenging situations. Our programs are designed to address current topics that are pressing on our hearts and causing grief, loss, trauma, and uncertainty.
We currently offer:
1. Parenting Leaders, Parenting leaders
Helping parents develop clear age appropriate expectations, communication strategies, harness the brilliance of their young person, break unwanted patterns, and grow leaders that will take their rightful place in the world we live. This program is designed for the parent who want to solidify the skills and strategies need to grow with their young person and to have the partnership needed to assure their success as they continue to guide and step aside watching the unfolding of their Young Leader.
2. You are Essential
Addressing the unique needs of our front line, veterans, military, police, fire department, emergency, and any public facing front line worker. The program is designed to bring the participant through ways to keep self care front and center through unprecedented times that have been demanding of them, their time, talents and threaten to burn them out well before their career lifespan has been maxed. Participants will be supported to explore how their work supports their values, addresses their vocational drives, and sustains them practically while simultaneously expending all their resources quicker than they can restore them. Participants will be allowed safe space to share real, raw experiences to process through the tremendous loss and grief that they experienced. Participants also will learn ways to expedite recovery from the energy drained doing the work that they do os that they can find renewed meaning and passion for what they do and who they are all about.
